Show / hide. Toggle “Show legend on sheet” to display the auto-built device legend.
Float vs Dock. Float puts the legend on the plan so you can place it exactly where you want. Dock tucks it into a strip along the bottom of the drawing frame so it never covers the floor plan.
Move (Float mode). Click the legend to select it (blue outline), then drag it anywhere on the plan.
Resize (Float mode). With the legend selected, drag the small blue triangle at its bottom-right corner to scale it up or down.
Columns. Use 1 / 2 / 3 to spread devices across columns — great for turning a tall list into a short, wide bar that stays out of the way.
Counts & numbers. “Show device counts” adds a quantity to each row; “Number icons” labels markers D1, D2…
Everything here saves with your project and is set per sheet.
The device legend can now float on the plan (drag to move, corner to resize) or dock into the frame — and spread across columns so it never blocks your floor plan.
